## Trustee Annual Report

The financial year the report relates to is June 22 to May 2023. 

Stranocum and District Development Group annually runs a variety of activities to improve the wellbeing of our local community. Regular activities include youth club, parent and toddler group, summer scheme and over 55s friendship group.  Other activities held over the past year include a village clean up, fun evening and duck race, craft workshops, yoga classes and sewing classes. 

The charity has a governing document (Memorandum and articles of association) which we established and signed in April 2010.  The charities main objects are to promote community development, provide facilities for recreation/leisure, relieve those in need, advance education and training, promote amateur sport and healthy recreation, advance environmental protection and promote good community relations. 

The trustees have had regard to the Commission’s Public benefit requirement statutory guidance. 

A review of the charity’s financial position has been carried out and no deficit/debt is held.
