**Purposes:** The Club is established to relieve poverty, sickness, disability and the aged, in the Dungannon West Community Area and its environs, (the "area of benefit") without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, marital status, class, disability, ethnic identity, political, religious or other opinion and in particular to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for the education, recreation and leisure-time occupation of senior citizens or people who by reason of sickness, disability, social isolation or economic circumstances have need of such facilities.  (a) By fostering an atmosphere of mutual support among people and encouraging them to provide support and encouragement to each other.  (b) By raising awareness for the benefit of the public and the needs of Senior Citizens and the services and information available to them.
