We appointed two new committee helpers this year, to help with the organisation of the 2023 Bible weeks
The Charities main activities are during the month of July, when we have Bible teaching meetings in the Marquee, six morning sessions and 8 evening sessions this year
This year again we were able to have the Marquee erected, and encouraging numbers attended, not the numbers we have had before COVID, but we were delighted with the attendance. It was up considerably from last few years.
We invited a speaker this year from Ballymena Mr Lawrence Kennedy, to speak at the morning services, people really enjoyed his ministry, and Mr Oliver McAllister helped with the evening outreach. The people were glad to be in the marquee and enjoyed the community singing very much.
This year also we have families in tents and caravans staying within the field, many children came and stayed with their parents. We also had a children’s outreach within two of the caravan parks in Newcastle. These were very well attended. All in all we had another great year. We are planning now to have a week July 2024 for Northfield Bible Weeks
