The financial records comprise of the following:
Freewill offering income which is recorded on a weekly basis
Income records
Expenditure records
Bank Account statements comprising of the three Church accounts:
Current Account, Building Fund and Savings Account
The examination comprised ofr.
Selecting a random number of income transactions, tracing these through the records until
they were evident in the bank records
Selecting a random number of payments and checking against invoices and receipts against
recoras and in the bank account statements
Checking all information had been reported correctly in the fInancial report.
Based on the checks I completed, l am satisfied with the verification of the information in the
Financial Report 2023, and l am content to recommend acceptan￿ of this to the Trustees.
