Career5 N Kids Report of the Trustees for the Year Ended 31 March 2024 The trustees who are also dii'ectors of the charity for the purposes of the Companies Act 2006, present their report with the financial statements of the chai'ity for the year ended 31 Mai'ch 2024. The trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recoinmended Praclice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accoi'dance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ir¢land (FRS 102) (efTective l January 2019). OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES Objective5 and aims The principal objective is to provide facilities for the daily cai'e, recreation and education for children who are below the compulsory school age and for children of compulsoiy school age out of school hours and during school holidays. These objectives were achieved during the year and the charity has Inet the benefit requii'ement. FINANCIAL REVIEW Financial position The trustees are satisfied with the results for the year and the year end position for the coit]pany. The net decrease in i'esources for the year amounted to £37,197 which was credited to funds brought forward. Total funds carried foi'ward at the year end ainounted to £(69,026). The results are set out in the incoine and expenditure account. Going concern After inaking appi'opi'iate enquiries, the trustees have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resoiii'ces to continiie in operational existence for the foreseeable future. For this reason, they continue to adopt the going concern basis in pi'eparing the financial statements.
