AGM MEETING
24[TH] NOVEMBER 2021

IN ATTENDANCE – Paul McGovern, Eileen McGovern. Ignatius O’Neill, Pauline O’Neill, Mary Burns, Martina McStravock, Eileen McGovern Frankie Donnelly, Joe Toner and Shane McGuigan
Apologies – Geraldine Reid, Sam Carmichael and Shane Martin Agenda
All members of the Executive Committee stood down
Ignatius O’Neill suggested those members should resume their positions, this was seconded by Joe Toner. Paul McGovern and Eileen McGovern agreed to resume their positions but advised they would be stepping down from their roles as chairman and Secretary in the coming year, Pauline accepted her position as treasurer
CHAIRPERSONS REPORT
Paul thanked everyone for coming out to the AGM, he also Thanked the committee for their continued support throughout the year.
Paul welcomed the Mother and Toddler group back , there are over 30 mother and toddlers attending the group which is great to see,
Fund raising – After our renovation, the hall is in £8.000 debt, to clear this debt we need to have some fundraising events, suggestions are , A Valentines Ball on 11[th] February 2022, our Big Breakfast and Hill Walk to be held maybe 29[th] May ? , Vintage Tractor run date to be checked, The new covid regulations for Licensed Premises was read out and advised they must be adhered to, a copy of the regulations is held the office
Paul urged everyone to stay safe in these uncertain times
Secretary’s Report
Eileen said the Entertainment License has been renewed. Our insurance is also renewed
Slieve Gallion play group will be holding a childrens disco on 15[th] December also their Nativity Play will be held on 20[th] December, the playgroup leader to be given a copy of the new Covid Regulations.
BIRTHDAY Party om 4[th] December, Shane McGuigan and Joe Toner to attend
Birthday Party on New Years Eve, Daryl McFlynn
We have 4 people who would like to come on the committee ,Caroline Quinn, Melissa Connery, Leanne Martin and Matt Connery, Caroline , Melissa and Leanne will run the mother and toddler group each Tuesday and Thursday. Matt will help out where abd when he can.
Susanna McGuckin has inquired about running exercise classes in the hall , she is waiting on her insurance and certificates and should be ready to go in January 2022
