**Purposes:** The Association is established to promote the benefit of the Mandarin speaking people in Northern Ireland by associating with other voluntary organisation, Chinese community groups and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and promote understanding and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and in particular: to raise awareness of the history, folklore and cultural heritage of Mandarin speaking people for the benefit of the general public.
