The income of the trust shall be applied in making grants and donations ft>r any charitable Pu￿e$

environment. the provision of focilities for recreation or other leisure b'me occupation in the interests of

deprivats'on for the beneffts of inhabitants of Northern Ireland and the remainder of the United Kingdom.
2. Charitable activities
Lunn's Charitable Trust is a grant making charity and its charitable activrties are as follows:
Providing grants to organisations for specffic projects to help towards the advancement of
education.
Providing grants lo help improve the environment through either the protection of the natural
environment, the provision of fa¢ilib"es for recreatDn or other leisure time occupat￿n$ in the
interests of social welfare or the promotion of urban andlor rural regeneration in areas of social
or econom￿ deprivation.

Achievements and performanc•
The charity was dOrn￿nt during the year but the Iruslees envisage that the charity will comnKnce its
charitable activities in the near future.

The charity was dormant duTing the year but the charity will oFerate for the public benefit when charitable

The trustees have had regaTd to the Charity Commission (Nothem Ireland) guidance on public benefrt
in managing the activities of the charity.

The charity shall actively proffK*te a board of trustees which include a range of skill. experience and
knowledge in keeping with pursuance of its objects.

These financial statements have been prepared in compliance with FRS 102. The Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of ITeland' {as applied lo small entities
by section 1A of the standard) , the Statement of Recommended Praclice applicable to charities
preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK
and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 (Charities SORP {FRS 10211 and the Charities Act {Northern
Ireland) 2008.

Basis of prgparation
The financial ststements have been prepared on the historical cost basis, as modified by the
revaluation of certain financial assets and liabilities and investment properties measured at fair
value through income or expenditure.
The financial statements are prepared in sterling, which is the functs'onal currency of the entity.
