The Trustees of the charity, wesent their report together with the financial statements atxl independent
accountants rewrt of the charity for the year ended 31 December 2024.
Objectives and Activities
Objects and aims
The purpose of Dunluce Christian Fellowship (FoTmeFly Portrush Chrisb'an Trust) is lo promote the Christian faith
by using the Scheduled Propety as a centre for instrudion of young people and adutts in the Christian faith and
demonstration of the Christian way of life and to encourage Christians to grow in their faith and in connection
with said activities to organise such classes, leciures, seminar meeth'ngs and pSaygroups or other events as they
may deem appropriate for these ends to obtain such permission as may be required by any public or
government body in relatson to said adivrties.
Objectives and activities
The Trust operates out of a building owned by the Trustees at Dun￿￿ Avenue Portrush which is the meets'ng
place of Dunluce Christian Fellowship The meeb'ngs and a(Aivtbes of the church are open to all. In connection
with the church there is a Sunday School open to all children and also youth meeb'ngs run from October to April
each year open to all children of primary school age. There is aLso a mothers and toddlers group which meets
regularly in the building and is open to all motheB and tCKldlers living in the victnty. In association wÉth this there
are special Children's days. The church also rurts an annual community Carol Service and organises regular
meetings for intemational students studying at the Universty of Ulster. The church co-operates with other
fellowships in the use of the building in connection with church outirwJs etc. There are also rwJulai Irish dancing
ctasses hekj in the buikling which are open to all in the communty.
Public Benefit
The public benefits which flow ftom the religious purpose set out a￿ve include: the increased understanding of
tha Christian faÉth among those to whom the charity reaches out, and the evidence of lives touched and indeed
transformed thereby.. the practical support which those in the fellowship seek to provide to those who are in need
01 under pressure in different ways, and the promoknon of community cohesion in terms of the community and
CfOSS-community events organised by the Fellowship. These benefits can be demonstrated by the involvement
of varying numbers of young ￿aple from the vicinity in activikn&s organised by the Fellowship, and the fact that
these young people come from different solial backgrounds and from both sections of the Northern Ireland
community. Young peoples, meetings are hekl in each year from October through to April. The Scheduled
Property is used foi other activities in the community e.g. CEF public meetings, and a mothers and toddlers
group. The Fellowship also organises meetings at regular intetvals for intemational students studying at Ulster
University, which helps to forge links among students of different nationafrties. The Fellowship also engages with
the aduN population of the local area, who are welcome at all of our meetings. There is an annual communty
Carol Service which is well supwrted by the local communty. Dunluce Christian Fellowship keeps up strong
pastoral contacts wth many in the local community and especialty with those who are experiencing difficu
rsonal cirCu￿￿tances. There is no harm which we can envisage being Caused directly or indirectly by any of
the activities carried on. Current Child Protection requirements are at all times adhered to. The charity's
beneficiaries are young people and aduRs in the North Coast Triangle area of Portrush, Portstewart and
Coleraine, (the area of benefit). There are no private beneffts flowing from the purpose.
The Trustees are satisfied that the Charity has achieved its objectives in the year uThJer review.

Trustees have assessed major risks to which the Charity is exposed. in particular those related to the operath'ons
and finances, and are satisfied that systems are in place to miligate exposure.
Achievements and Perfonnance
Total incoming resources for the year amounted to £14.298 (2023 - £13.798) and after deducting total
resources exFended of £13,119 (2023- £11,382) net incorrllrKJ resources amounted to £1,180 (2023 net
incoming resources
£2,326). At the year end, unrestncted funds amounted to £102,683 (2022
£101.503).
All resources received and expended are treated as unrestricted funds.

Charity Legislation requires the Trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which gtve a
true and fair view of the affairs of the charity and the incoming resources and applicats'on of the resources.

I report to the Trustees on my exarrination of the finan(?al statements of the Charity for the year ended 31
December 2024, which comprise the Statement of Financial Activities, Balance Sheet and related notes, which
are set out on pages 5 to 9.
The financial reporting framework that has been applied in th￿r preparation is applicab￿ law and the Financial
ReFX)rting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (8ffective 1 January 2015) - (Charities
SORP (FRS 102)).
Respective responsibilities of trustees and independent examiner
As explained more fully in the Trustees. RetM)rt set out on pages 2 3. the trustees are responsible for the
preparation ofthe financial statements and for b8ing satisfied that they gtve a true and fair view. The Trustees of
the Charity being resp)nsible for the preparation of the financial statements: consider that an audit is not required
for this year.
Having satisfied myself that the charity does not require an audrt and is eligible for independent examination, it is
my responsibility to.,

Basis of independent examinefs report
I have examined your charity financial statements as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my
examination was carried out in accoidance wtth the general directions given by the Chartty Commission for
Northern Ireland under secb'on 65(9)(b) of the Chartties Act. The examination included a review ofthe accounting
records kept by the charty and a cornparison of the financial statements presented with those records. It also
included consideration of any unusual Tten￿ or disclosures in the financial stalements, and seeking explanations
from you as charity trustees concerning any such matters.
My ro￿ is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to believe:
- that accounting records were not kept in accordance wrth the Chartbes Act.
- that the finan(ial statements do not accord with those accounts'ng records..
that the financial statements do not comply with the accounb'ng r￿uirements, meth￿S and principles of the
Charikn'es Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to chattties weparing their accounts in accordance with

1 Accounting policies
Charity status
The charity is a charitable trust registered with the Chatty CommissM)n foi Northem Ireland.
b Summary of signrficant accounting policies and key accounting estimates
The principal accounling polioes applied in the prepaiakn.on of these financial ststements are set out
below. These policies have been consistentty applied to all the years presented, unless otheThvise
stated.
Basis of Preparation
The finanaal statements have been prepared in accordance with Accounting and Repoth'ng by
Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities weparing their accounts in
accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS
102) (Charities SORP 2015 (FRS 102) effective 1 January 2015.
Dunluce Chrrstian Fellowship (Formerty Portrush Christian Trust) meets the definition of a public benefit
enknty under FRS 102. Assets and liabilities are initially recognised at histonc£l cost or Iransaction value
unless otherwsse statod in the rolevant accounts.ng p)Eicy notes.

The trustees consider that there are no material uncertainties about the charity's ability to continue as
a going concern nor any significant areas of uncertainty that affect the carrying value of assets hekl by
the Charity, therefore the financial ststements have Iken piepared on a going concern basis.
Incoming resources
All incorY¥ng resources are included in the statement of financial activitres when the charity is entrtled
to the income and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy. The following specific
policies are appli￿ to particular categories of income..
Donation and gift income is included in full in the statement of financial activities when receivable.
Investmènt income is Includ￿ when recetvable.
The total incoming resources of the Charity for the year has been derNed from its principal activty
wholty undertaken in the UK.
f Expenditure
Expenditure is recognised on an accrual basis as a lia￿lty is incurred. Expenditure includes any VAT
which cannot be fulty recovered, arKI ts reported as part of the expenditure to which it relates.
Chaiitable expenditure comprises those costs incurred by the chanty in the delivery of its activities and
services for beneficiaries.
Other costs include those costs assoaated wth meeting the constitutional and statutory requirements
of the charity and include the accountancy fees a￿1 other Costs incurred in the running of the chanty.
g Funds
All resources receNed and expended are treated as unrestricted unless speafically stated as
condib'onal upon receipt. Unrestricted funds are available to spend on any activities that further the
purposes of the chaty.
h Debtors
Trade and other debtors are recognised at the settlement amount due after any Irade dlscounts
offered. Prepayments are valued at the amount prepaid net of any trade discounts due.
