Activities

To provide leadership and training for men and women committed to developing a future marked by greater social justice and specifically to address the emerging needs of a multi cultural society. This will be achieved by facilitating leadership training, through Adult Education Workshops. This education is offered to voluntary, business, community, educational and statutory organisations with a particular commitment to work with communities in areas of social and economic disadvantage. To work collaboratively with others to create spaces and places where together we can explore imaginatively ways of living justly on our planet. To work with people who believe in participating in the shaping of a future marked by greater social justice as expressed in right – relatedness, clarity about role, ability to deal with the complexity of people living/working towards a common aim as part of the community of all of life. To work with those who hold Leadership/Managerial roles to enhance their ability in working creatively and effectively with their teams. In particular to support women who strive to find new models and styles of Leadership/Management. To provide opportunities which; (i) enable participants critically and imaginatively to engage in exploration towards learning. (ii) are grounded in the ongoing personal and group experiences of participants, within the larger context of organisations and the cosmos. (iii) enable change to occur within the social, economic, cultural and spiritual environment. (iv) are organic processes, orientated to looking at the interrelatedness of elements, seeing them as part of a common process. (v) value diversity and its potential as agent for change. (vi) develop the ability to deal with the complexity of people living and working towards a common aim. (vii) are sensitive to different styles of learning, different cultures, different gender, different experience, different personality types. (viii) are based in the context of Adult Education as distinct from Counselling, Therapy or Social Work.
