Chairman report 2023
As we reflect on the past year we are thankful to God for his blessing upon us. We appreciate all those who have preached for us as we continue without a minister. We especially say thanks to Rev Joe Brown who has ministered to us during this period. As a church we continue to look to the Lord in prayer to guide us.
During the year we have listened with interest as representatives from various missionary organisations have shared of the work they are involved in and we have heard how the Lord is working in many parts of the world. We are pleased to have been able to give gifts to all these organisations. We thank all who gave so generously to our Harvest offering which was given to Friends in Actionfor their well drilling projects.
One of the highlights of our year was our Carol service where a number of visiters joined with us.
We also thank everyone who supported the Larne Food bank during the year. We know that our donations are appreciated both by those who run the Food Bank and by those who receive help from it.
We are grateful to all those who contribute financially to the church and those who volunteer their time to ensure the continuation of the various groups.
