Activities

The objects of the Company shall be the:- (a) Advancement of environmental protection and improvement by: (i) breeding genetically unique Erne brown trout and restocking the Erne catchment with same; (ii) breeding of coarse fish stocks for restocking purposes; (iii) the comprehensive enhancement of the Erne and Melvin catchments; (iv) the promotion of bio-diversity projects. (b) Advancement of public education in the principles and practice of conserving fish populations in all running and still waters in the Erne and Melvin catchment areas by the provision of facilities, including publications, demonstrations, instruction, lectures and courses. (c) Carrying out, or assisting, study and research relating to fish populations and their habitats, ecology, water quality and environment, particularly with a view of safeguarding and improving the same and publication of such research. (d) Promotion of such other charitable purposes as may be from time to time be determined.
