# **Annual General Meeting**

Shavon Armstrong welcomed everyone to the Annual General Meeting, especially all the new members.

## **Chairpersons Report** 

Shavon Armstrong 

Since our last AGM we have had lots of excitement from the World games in Berlin. For any new family we were very lucky to have Ellie Armstrong picked to go with the swimming team to the games. We were very proud that Ellie achieved 4[th] , 5[th] and 7[th] in the world in her division. I would also like to thank the Goodwin family for their support at the world games. The club continues to grow with over 60 athletes now taking part in our sports. Our sports include Bocce, Swimming, Athletics and Football. I would like to thank the committee and coaches for all their hard work throughout the year. I would also like to thank anyone who has donated to the club. Lastly, I would like to thank the families for allowing the club to look after the most important people in their lives the athletes. 

## **Treasurer Report.** 

Gareth Thomas 



Gareth confirmed that the accounts for 23/24 have been completed and will be audited by Nigel Scott at Focus. Gareth thanked Nigel for his continues support. 

Gareth confirmed that the income for 23/24 was £15,654.14. Outgoings was £24,732.91 leaving an excess of income over expenditure of (-£9,078.77). Balance in the bank account on the 31[st] March 24 was £19,448.95. 

It was confirmed that registration fees will stay the same as the previous year £100 registration and £20 per sport. 

Gareth thanked everyone who has donated to the club. 

The next registration will take place on the 7[th] September at 7.30pm in Omagh Leisure Centre.

All officers were declared vacant by Gareth Thomas.

**Anne Cullen** will continue to assist Gareth as Assistant Treasurer. 

**Shelly Thomas** was appointed as the new athlete representative.

Shavon said we are looking for the club to grow and welcomed any parents to join our committee or volunteer at sports.
