**Purposes:** The Association is established to bring the love to the people of Asia by assisting orphans and other children in need beginning in China and then in its neighbouring countries (called the "area of benefit" in this constitution) and in particular: a) To support and nurture orphans and other children in need in the area of benefit b) To ensure that these children are healthy, adequately fed, clothed and accommodated and nourished. c) To support education and training  d) To encourage interest in and to provide opportunities for active participation in this mercy ministry from the christian community in UK and Ireland.
