The Charitys objecls are:.
a) The advancement ol education, learning and knowledge by:
i) The eslablishment, maintenance and impmvem8nl of a Community Hall and herilaoe Cenlr8 in Ihe
Fountain district ol Londonderry tor the public exhibition, display and interpretation of documents,
books, phoiographs, maps. artefacts and olher items relating to Ihe social, cultural, religious, polilical
and economic hlslory of the unionisl community of the Fountain and of Ihe Cily of Londondery (the
"area of benefil.) and thereby to promote interesl in Ihe past, present and future of Ihat community;
ii) Organising. promoling and pr8senting educational, artistic and cullural activities, including feslivds.
performances of music, drama, dance and poelry, film shows and walking tours ot Ihe City-
iii) Carrying out research into Ihe social, cullural. religlous. political and economtc hislory, wilh
partl¢ular relerence lo the fwenlielh century, and current situation ol the Unionist community of th8
Founlain and of the City;
b) Promote the value of cullural aclivty and rnolivale people at local level to protect and conserve their
cuttural heritage;
c) Provide leisure and recreational tacilrties for Ihe benelii and enjO￿lent ol the public and in the
interests of social welfare:

the Fountain and neighbouring communities.

The charity continued to suffer Irom Ihe etlecls of the covid pandemic. The Trustees are gralelul lor
the support offered by the Ulster-scots Agency, which enabled us lo carry out repairs and
maintenance; enhancing Ihe visf(or experience. The trustees welcome Ihe reopening of Ihe cenlre to
Ihe public and ihe delivery. again, ol workshops and events. The Iruslees afe hopeful ol increased
activty in Ihe coming year.

Responslbllilles and basis ol report
As Ibe Iruslees of the company (and also ils directors for the purposes ol company law) you are
responsible for Ihe preparation of the financial statements in accordance wlh Ihe requiiements of
Charities Act {Northem Ireland) 2008 (the .2008 Act,) and the Companies Act 2006 ('the 2006 ￿1,).
You are satisfied that the accounts of Ihe company are not required by charity oi company law to be
audited and have chosen instead lo have an indépendent examination.
Having satisfied myself Ihat th8 accounts of Ihe company are not required lo be audiled under Part 16
of th& 2006 Act and are eligible for independent examinalion, I report in respect of my exarninalion ol
the charilys financial stalemenls as carried out under section 6S of Ihe 2008 Aci. In carying out my
examination I have followed the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern
Ireland under section 65{9>lb) ol the 2008 A¢t.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no matters have come to my attention in conn8¢1ion
with my exarnination giving me cause to believe that irj any material respect-
accounting records were not kept in respect ol the charity as required by section 386 01 the
2006 Act: or
