year ended 31 January 2024. The dir¢¢tors have adopted the provisions of the Statement of
Recommel￿ed Practice (SORP) "AcLxJunting and Reporting by Chariti¢s" (FRS 102) in preparAng the
annual Teport and financial statements of the chaTity.
The financial statements have b¢¢n ptEpared in accordance with the accounting polici¢s set out in notes
to the financial statemeuts and eomply with the charity's governing docum¢nL Companies Act 2006.
Charities Act (Northern Iteland) 2008, The Charities (AceA>unts and Reports) Regulations (Northern
Ireland) 2015 and SORP (FRS 102).

Actively promote th¢ advance ofthe clu1￿lan r¢ligion in the United Kingdom and throughout the world.
Th¢ direct benefits ivhich flow from this pury)ose include an overa]I motal improvement in society as
more communities have churches that are PTaying forthe sicl feeding the poor and loving God and our
n¢ighbour practically delivered through the pTes¢ntatton and teaching of the Christian Faith and through
promoting understanding, practice and growth of the Christian Faith. These benefits are demonstrated
through feedback from chiirches and communities.

STRUCTURE. GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Governing do¢ument
New Wine Ireland is a charitable company limited by guarantee and does not have any share capitsl. It
was illcoiporated on 31 January 2005 and registered as a dwity with The Charity Commission for
Northern Ireland on 30 April 2015. In the event of the company being wound up members are required
to contribute an amount not exceeding £1.
Recruitment, appointment, induction and training
The directors regularly review the requirements ofthe charity and the possibility of a nced foradditional
diffctors. Three new appointments were made this y¢ar on this basis. New directots were appointed by
resolution of a meeting of all th¢ directors passed by a majority of those present. Appropriate tsaining
and induction is available to all directors and regulaTly updat¢
Risk management
The directors have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed, in particular those related
to the operntions and fjnances of the Trust, and are &2tisfied that systems are in pl￿¢ to mitigate an
exposure to major risks. Wher¢ appropriate, systems orprocedures have been estab]ished to mitigate the
risks the charity fatts. Internal control risks are minimised by the impJ¢mentation of procedures for
authorisation of all transactions and projects. Procedures are in place to ensure ￿MplIanCe with health
and safety of staff, volunteers, clients and visitors. These procedures are periodi¢a]ly revieived at least
annually to ¢nsur¢ that they LX)ntinue to meet the needs of the Charity.

OBJECTIVES AND AcfivJTIES
The obj¢ctiv¢s and principal activities ofthe charity arc the advanrxment of the Christian religion in the
United Kingdom and throughout th¢ world, and the carrying on of such activities in furthctanrx of th¢
objectives, but not otherwise, by presenting and teaching of th¢ Christian faith and promoting the
understanding. practlce and growth of that faith and ttlated means.
We provide training and resourcing for local churches in fow main aw: _
Praying for the Si¢k, HeatÈng God's Voice. Worship and Raising a G¢n¢rdtion (kids and youth work).
We do this by running training events forthe whole church. We provide training and support for church
lead¢rs. We send volunteer teams to support the work of local churches on a one off or regular basis.
We arwe long t¢mi volunteer placements (part time and full time). We nm au annual summer holiday
CODferenc¢ where ￿Ople from all over Ireland gathcr for a week of worship. ministy and teaching. We
facilitate a distance leaming Course to provide training in evangeli￿n. Fees are charged for most of the
training days, summer conference and courses. These are set atthe lowest possible prirxs to cover costs
and still be a¢¢essible to as many people as possible. We offer free places to people ill special
¢ircwnstan¢¢s and direct peoplc to various sour¢es of fi￿dIng if applicable. We do ev¢rything we Can
to strengthen and renew local chur¢hes and to se¢ neiv chur¢hcs planted.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
Total income for the y¢ar amowited to £298.137 (2023 - £283,670). Income derived from donations
and l¢gacies amounted to £105,605 (2023 - £129.986). income from chatitable activities amowited to
£19 I,192 (2023 - £153.651). inwme from investments amounted to £1,340 (2023 - £123) and other
income amounted to £NIL (2023 - £NIL).
Totsl expenditu￿ forthe }year amounted to £251,580 (2023 - £240,415). The cost of charitable activsties
amounted to £25 1,580 (2023 - £240,415).
The net income forthe y¢ar amounted to £46,557 (2023 - £43.345).
Reserves policy
It is the policy of the charity to maintsin free rcs¢rves which matches th¢ needs ofth¢ tTUSt, both at th¢
current tim¢ and thc foreseeabl¢ future, This provides sufficient funds to cover nwiing wsts which
includ¢ management, a(tininistration and support ￿Sts. Free reserves are thosc unrestricted reserves not
designed nor invested in fixed wets which available forg¢n¢tal us¢.
Funding
The principal fimding is from donations.
PLANS FOR FUTURE PEIUODS
New I￿1alld plan to take our training and p￿gramme$ InC￿asinglY acTOSS the island of
Ireland. As well as our focus conference event in Sjigo and all our current activities, we are launching
a new leaderfs netwo￿ which gathets ¢very 6 weeks and are planning missions and millisty in all four
provinces. We wntinue to look to individuals, thurches and trnsts to support the WOTk financially as
well as seeking to generdte our income from events where possible.
