**Purposes:** The association is established to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Cranagh and Aghagallon and its environs (hereinafter called the ‘area of benefit’) without distinction or different religious belief, political opinion, racial group, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation or other opinions by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to improve the conditions of life for the said inhabitants, as well as community relations in general, and in particular: a)	To promote the benefit of older people in the area of benefit, to relieve poverty and to promote the good health of older people, to develop a support network and to provide recreational and leisure time facilities for older people.

**What the charity does:** The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
