Welcome to New Horizons Partnership Ltd. Annual General Meeting 12[th] June 2024; Time: 6.30p.m. Location: The Everglades Hotel, Derry, BT47 2NH In 2023, the organisation continues to develop, utilising the five-year strategy - which clearly sets out the Mission, objectives and future plans to map ongoing operations and successes. This Strategic Plan also assists and encourages focus on ever - more creative and holistic approaches to the delivery of our services. New Horizons Partnership Ltd. continues to build on its reputation and its relationship with the WHSCT Learning Disability services social work team as well as the ASD Team; as a person centred, traineefocused organisation.

The Training and Community Opportunity Team supports 46 people in Strabane, funded by the WHSCT. A new bespoke QA system is being developed (based on the RQIA minimum standards). This will be an effective and efficient tool used by senior Managers with input from their staff Teams regularly. The Client Services Coordinator in Strabane and the Training & Community Services Manager oversee the delivery / methodology employed and report daily, as well as through the supervision system in the organisation; on challenges, triumphs and on operational activities. The organisational structure in place now (including the Garden Centre Team and the key workers and Senior Administrative Officer); coupled with this QA system (once completed and put into daily operation), will ensure that our trainees prepare their own person-centred plans, determining their identified goals and their timetable at the Orchard Road Centre/Garden Centre and ultimately, their futures. Community opportunities within the local area continue to be a feature and

those who do not wish to follow that route are supported to do other things, always with progression and a goal in mind. The sense of achievement and pride when these goals are achieved, perhaps incrementally over time, is immense. Community inclusion and fun as mentioned in our 5-year strategy document have become the ‘norm/reality’ and everyone is benefiting; not least, the wider Strabane area in which our trainees reside.

As New Horizons Partnership Ltd. looks to the future, it remains a priority to safeguard longevity / sustainability. The organisation has a strong base of core activities upon which to call, but we remain optimistic that the new Centre at Orchard Road as well as the extra opportunities in our Garden Centre will continue to garner interest; it is vital that the organisation continues to consolidate its services and capitalise on its strengths. New Horizons Partnership Ltd. will ensure that it continues to provide an exemplary level of training and Community opportunities to the service users referred to our services by the WHSCT, as chosen by them. As New Horizons Partnership Ltd. continues to grow in terms of the activities and opportunities it offers, as well as in the impact it has on trainees, their families and Community; the organisation will simply continue to market what we do and seek out new opportunities.

During the year the Board of Donegal Horizons CLG were: - Bill McIntyre (Chairperson); Eamon McColgan (Secretary); Shirley Hamilton (Treasurer), Patricia McCormack, Kathleen O’Donnell (resigned 7/6/2023); Lynda McIntyre, Eoin McDonald, Paul Fagan (commenced 1/3/2023); Sandra Friel (commenced 7/6/2023).
