## Activities

**Purposes:** The Association is established to support by means of financial assistance any charitable project for the protection and preservation of health, the relief of poverty or the advancement of education in South America and Africa (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organizations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and in particular: a)	Support the charitable work of the Passionist Sisters in Quilpue, Chile and the Sisters of Calvary in Botswana; b)	Promote awareness among the general public, and in particular former pupils of the Cross and Passion College, of the work undertaken by educational organizations within the area of benefit; c)	The recruitment, selection and sending out of volunteers for short term service within the area of benefit.
