## Activities

**Purposes:** The Association is established to promote the benefit of people living on the island of Ireland (the “area of benefit”), and in particular residents of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust area in Northern Ireland, without distinction of age, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, disability, or political, religious or other opinion, and in particular to:-  (a)	Promote health and wellbeing by:         (i)	organising or facilitating community based recreational activities and social events in the interests of social welfare;         (ii)	encouraging and facilitating healthy physical activity and good nutrition;         (iii)	organising befriending and other support services that reduce isolation and/or improve the wellbeing and conditions of life of the beneficiaries.   (b)	 Improve the quality of life of people who are in need of assistance or support by reason of youth, age, caring responsibilities, illness, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
