**Purposes:** The Trust Fund and the income thereof shall be held on exclusively charitable trusts and shall be applicable (subject to and in accordance with the provisions hereinafter contained) in promoting the charitable work for the time being carried on promoted or supported by the Society (the Roman Catholic men known as the Society of Jesus) (in particular by the members of the Irish Province thereof working and living in Northern Ireland) by such means as the Trustees in their discretion with the consent of the Provincial from time to time think fit.
