Report of the trustees of Friends of Rosetta
This report covers the period September 2022 to August 2023
This report has been made in accordance with the Northern Ireland Charity Commission’s public benefit guidance. The Association of the Friends of Rosetta (FoR) was registered as a charity in order to fulfils its charitable purposes of: the advancement of education, citizenship and community development through making grants available and organising fund raising and social events for children and adults.
We have raised money over the past 12 months from non-uniform days, our Halloween and Valentine’s disco, the Christmas and Summer raffles and a new event for Friends of Rosetta with a Christmas jumper swop.
Friends of Rosetta organised a parents’ survey in October 2022 to assess interest on afterschool activities and applied for numerous funding applications to support an afterschool program.
We’ve supported school events helping at the Open Night in December 2022 and answering queries from prospective parents.
Friends of Rosetta donated items for the Christmas and Summer Raffles.
The year ended with a cake sale and recycling uniform sale on 29[th] June 2023.
The funds raised by Friends of Rosetta during 2022-23 have been used for a variety of school initiatives:
