We have audiled tho non-statutory finanaal statements of Dominican Fathers Newry ('the Ch8rty') for the
year ended 31 De(%mber 2023 set out on pages 9 to 17, whth comwise the statement of financial
activities. balance sheet and ￿lated notes, including the summary of signfficant accounting policies set
out in note 1. These non-statutory financial statements have been p￿pared for the reasons Set out in
note 1. The financial reporting framework that has been applied in their preparation is FRS 102 Tha
Financial Repoth'ng Standard applK8ble in the UK 8nd R8public of Ireland.
In our opinlon, nonqststutory financial statements:
give a true and fair view of the state of the Charity's affairs as at 31 Dacember 2023 and of Its
surplus for the year then ended,.
have been property prepared in accordance wlth FRS 102 The Financial Repo￿.ng Standard

have been property prepar8d in 8ccordanca wrth the requirements of the Charib'es (Northern

independent of the Charity in accordance with ethical requirem8nts that a￿ relevant to our audit of
financlal statements in the UK induding the Financial Reportlng Council {FRC)'s Ethical Stsndard, and
we have futfilled our other ethrcal responsibilities In accordance with these requirements.
We believe that the audit evidence we have obtained is sufficient and approprlate ts provlde a basis for

The tnjstees have prepared the financial staternents on the going concern basis as they do not intsnd to
liquidate the Trust or to cease ts operations, and as they have concluded that th8 Trust's financial
position Means that this is realistic. They have also concluded that there are no material uncertainties
that could have cast significant doubt over its ability to continue as a going concem for at least 8 year from
the date of approval of the financial ststements (°the going conrAm periocr).
We are requir8d to report to you if we have conduded that the use of the going concern basis of
accounting is inappropriate or there is an undlsclosed material uncertainty that may cast signlficant doubt
over thè use of that basis for a perlod o18t least a year from the date of approval of the financi81
