The director and twstees are pleased to present their annual directOTS' Teport together with the fmanciaI ststsments
of the chartty foT the year ended 30 April 2023 which are also prepared to meet the requirements for a d]re￿Or'S
report and accounts for Companies Act purposes.
The fjnancial statements comply with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008, the Companies Act 2006, the
Mernorandum and Articles of Association, and Accountino and Reportin>ry by Charities: Statement of
Recommended Prdctice applithle to charities prepartncr their accoullts in accordance with tbe Financial Reporting
Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRSI 02) (effective l January 2019).
Objectives 2nd actiYAties
The principal objective and activity of the charity is to colEe¢t donations and fonvard these to the pastor in Zambia
to provide a village setting to house OTphans and provide them with Spiritt￿l, physical, mentaL educational, dental
and medical care.
Achievements and perfonnance
The charity continued to achieve its objectives as stated above, through better livincr conditions and better health
care et¢ for the orphans. Through the continued efforts of fun(Jraisino the charity was able to forward amounts of
£60,220 (2022: £14,060) to Zambia during the year.
Financial review
The results for the Y￿ are set out in the statement of financial activities on P￿lIe 5.
The reserves that have accumulated since the charity was incorporated are unrestricted reserves and are available
for immediate use to assist in achieving the chaTtties objectives and total £21.464 at 30 April 2023 (2022: £36,374).
It is the intention of the trnstees to continue to provide financial assistance to Zambia on an ongoing basts as funds
becorne available and are requiTed. This policy is reviewed annually by the trustees.
Structure) governanee and management
The company is limited by guarantee. It is .tsuaranteed by a MemoTandum and Articles of Association and the
liability of each member is limited to an amount not exceedin(Y £1. The company is accepted as a charity for tsx
purposes. The ttustses meet on a regular basis to review issues arising and to delegate tasks to the members. There
is no provision in the Memorandum and Articles of Association requiring the trusfres to be re-elected annually and
the trustees may ¢lect new members as require(L

Statement of director 2nd trustee's responsibilities in respect of the annual report and
fmaneial statements
The director and trustees are Tesponsible for prepaTino the annual report and the fman¢ial statements in accordance
with applicable laws and re.trulations.
Company law requiies the directorto prepare financial statements for each f￿ancIaLYe￿. Underthat law the director
has elected to prepare the finan¢ial statements in accordance with United Kin<ydom Generdlly Accepted Accountino
Practice (United Kingdom Accounting Standards and applicable law). Under company law the director must not
approve the flljancial statements unless he is satisfied that they give a true and fair view of the state of affajrs of the
company and of the profit or loss of the company for that period.

of fraud and other l￿e.￿Ul8r1ties.
The trustees are responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the co￿ordtr and financial inforniation included
on the charitable company's website. Legislation in the United Kingdom oovernintr the preparation and
dissemination of f￿ancial statements may differ from leoislation in other jurisdictions.

This report has been prepared in accordance with the special provisions relating to small companies within Part 15
of the Companies Act 2006.
