**Purposes:** The Objects are:   2.1	To promote the efficiency and effectiveness of  charities  which  are working overseas for the prevention  or  relief  of  poverty,  sickness, disease  or  human suffering, the advancement of human rights  and equality and for the relief of those in  need,  primarily  in  developing countries, but  not  exclusively,   through  the  provision  of  support, information, training, representation, the promotion of best practice and by  such  other  charitable means under the law of Northern Ireland as   the Charity may from time to time determine;    2.2	To advance the education of the public, including government agencies and voluntary organisations, by promoting awareness about international aid and development work in addressing the relief of those in need.
