Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
Operational Activities As an organisation, we have continued to be successful in our objectives – mainly being our local community participating in sport and recreation. During 2024 we launched a new girls team to further develop our girls / ladies’ section – this will remain an area of high priority in our progression as a club. To facilitate our growth, we will continue to provide high level coaching, mentorship and support to the local community and residents. We have introduced an additional training night for school aged children – with the assistance of local council grants we have increased numbers and now have more teams playing small sided games. New technology, training equipment, and machinery have all enabled our club to broaden their prospects and digitalise certain aspects of our operations. We are delighted to see more former players and youth players, progressing through the club to senior football and present-day youth coaches. In addition, we are delighted to see so many former players return to the organisation as volunteers in coaching, maintenance, administrative duties etc. In 2025, it is our ambition to begin a capital project which will introduce a new training room and community hub to our facilities.
