Ardstraw Footbal5 Club enables our local community to actively
participate in sport. in doing so we promote physical wellbeing, mental
wellbeing. education, integration and social cohesion. Our key obj8Ctiv8
is to provide recreational, educational and sporting opportunities for the
next generation youth. whilst involving people of all ages,
abilities and backgroun(ts from Ihe local coffltnunity. This is achieved by
offering the services of qualified coaches. necessary equipment and
appropriate facilities. A5 an organi5ation we do not discrimlnate In any
way in our membership policies and are wholly open to all sections of the
community. The dub have a core purpose in the promotion of amatéur
sports participation and operate strictly on a non-profit making basis. we
r&invest any proffts into the sports club. Our activities aim to improve the
physical and mental wellbeing of all participants. creating a progressive
pattNiay for sustained involv8ment for all ag8 groups from youth to
elderty. We also aim tQ Gombat social exclusion, deprivation, i501ation
2nd in￿u31￿ among young pgople in our Community. We also striv• to
build partnerships with local schools, voluntary organisations, local
residents. goveming b(xlies, government agencies and neighbouring

As an organisation. have continued our owve of
encouraging the communty to participate in sport and recreation.
We are delighted to see so many fonner player3 and youth
players. progressing through th8 dub to senior football and
present4ay youth coaches.
In addftlon, are a￿1g￿ted to see so many fonner players retum
to the organisatÉon as volunteers in coaching, maintenance,
administrative duties etc.
It is hoped that. with commitment and continued support, we can
further develop our girls I ladies, section - this is an area of high
PIiOrity in our progression during the next two years.
We will continue provide h￿h level coaching. Mentorship and
support to the local communrty an¢J residents.
The Continued development of our youth system has resulted in
increased nUrn￿rs and more tsams playing small sided games-
thi3 is al80 evident in the additional youth teams we entered into
compebtive footb811 ct)mpletions during 2023.
Committed had work, fundraising and grant aid have contributed
to the develoFynent of our facilrties e.g., purchase of a tractor for
ground maintenance, tschnology, training equipment etc. -
investmant8 have ensured we can better cater for the IoGal
demand and helped us become more self-sufficient with our
maintenance work and other projects.

Duriro 2022r2023 we continued to invest in capital projeGts -
beneffting from grant aid to support our causes.
A total of £35,120 was irNested in projects such as
purchasing a tractor for ground maintenance and general
upkeep in our factlitses (£24,000). upgrading our new storage
container {£9.174) and the purchase of a VEO camera
(£1.948)
These projects have enabled us to provid8 a better facility and
environment for our users, and allowed us to better interact
wrth technology advancemènts.
Gratts were obtained from Irish FA DAERA. SSE, Derry City
& Strabane District Council etc.
