The association's purposes/objects are specifically restricted to the following: To advance education and to promote and celebrate music for the benefit of the public and in particular young people from all backgrounds, musicians and migrant artists and migrant communities of all ages (the beneficiaries) primarily in Belfast but not exclusively (the area of benefit) through the provision of advice, information and performance opportunities. To promote good relations between indigenous and migrant communities and promote an understanding of the diversity that exists in Northern Ireland using music. To promote equality and diversity using music and art as a medium to bring people together from different backgrounds and age groups.
