The Trust was established for tlie advancement of the Evangelical Christian Faith, the advancernent of
education, tlie I'elicf of poverty and tlie relief of siclcness. The doctrinal basis of the Trust is also set out in
Ilie company's MenioraiiduiT) of Association. The in¢iiibei's of tlie Coinmittee confii-m tliat they liave referred
to the giiidance coi)tained in the Charity Commission's genei'al guidaiice on public benefit when reviewing
tlie Ti'ust's aims and objectives, in inaking decisions and in planning futui'e activities.
The Trust cai-I'ie5 Out these objectives by pi'oviding finaiicial assistance and practical support to various
charitable pi'ojects tlii'ougliout the year, as ivell as giving strategic, legal and business advices and training
where required.

sclieduled meetiiig. Tlie availabiliry of granis will depend on whether the application meets the obje¢tives

pi'ojccts working to advancc tlic Cliristian faith and alleviate poverty and sickness in India, Bangladesli,
Nepal, South Africa, Uganda, Burkina faso and Europe.
A siiiall nuinbei- of gi'ants have also been Inade available to local chai-itable projects in Nortliern Ireland and
the UK. lii total, grants of £181,545 wei-e made dui'ing the year.

the yeai- of £190,766, of wliich £61,265 al'e re5ti-icted funds.

limited by guarantee. as defined by the Companies Act 2006.
The Trust is a company limited by guai-aiitee. incoi'porated on 18th Apri12000. l'egislered with The Charity
Coimmission for Noi'Lhern Ii'eland NICIOI 3 IJ, and I'ecognised as a chai'ity by HM Reveniie & Customs,
reference number XR36105. The coinpany was established uiider a Meniorandutn of AssocialioT) whicli
establishcd the objecis and powers of tlie company and 15 govei'ned undei. ils Articles of Association.
The Trust was establislied by a Small iiuiiiber of members wishing to provide fiiiancial and strategic
assislance to various charitable projects, primarily for the advancement of evangelical Christian faitli. the
relief of poverty and the advanceiiienl of education. The Ti'ust does not actively fundraise, and See￿ lo
continue the charitable work dcsii'cd by donors thi'ough personal donations and the careful stewardsliip of its
existing resources.
The director5 of tlie company al'e also chai-ity trustees for the purposes of charity law and undcr the
company's Ai'ticles of Association al'e knowii as Inenibei-s of tlie Maiiagement Cominittee. The Management
Committee are responsible for tlie straiegic dii'ection aiid policy of the cliarity. New iiiembers are appointed
to the Coinmittee by the existing Inembers at the Annual General Meeting. At eacli Annual Genei'al Meeting,
one-thii'd of tlie meiiibei'5 of Ilie Coinii)itiee (oi. the iiuimber nearest to one tliii-d) shall relii'e from officc. The
Members of the Cornmittee to i'etii'e sliall be tliose wlio liave been longest in office since Iheii- last election or
appointmcnt. A i-etiring membcr of tlie Managemeni Committee is eligible for I'e-eleclion.
Tlie Trust may from tinie to time in Gcneral Meeting iiicreasc or reduce tlie nuinbcr of meinbers of the
Management Coinniittee and determine in what rotation such increased or I'cduced numbei. shall go out of

All members of the Manag¢ment Coininittee (yive of their time and eipei'tise on a voluntai-y basis and receive
no remuneration or beiiefits froni the cliarity. Members of the Coilliiiittee are also reqiiired to disclose all
relevant interests and register them witli the Committee, and may be i-equii-ed to withdraw fi'om decisions

The Management Cominittee have conducted a review of the major I'isks to ivliicli the company is exposed
and revTeiv those I'isks on an annual basis. Wliere appi'opi'iate, systems oi. procedui'e5 liave been established
to mitigate the risks faced by ihe charity. The Manaueinent Comniittee consider Iliat the Inajor operational
risk is tliat funds are allocated appi-opriately and in l ine ivith the ivi5hes of donors. Sti'ong internal financial
and opci'ational controls are in place to nianage this risk.
