The trustees who are also directors of ihe charity for the purposes of the Companies Act 2006. present their
report witli tlie financial statements of the charity foi the year ended JO April 2023. The trustees have
adopted the provisions of Accountino and Reporting by Charitie5= Statement of Recominended Practice
applicable to charilies pi'epaiing tl)eii accounts in accordance iyiih the Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective l January 2019).
0￿ECTIVEs AND ACTivrrIES
Objectives and aims
The conipany's purpose.s are set out in the objects contained in the company's Memoranduni of Association.
The Trust was established for the advaneement of ihe Evangelical Christian Faith, the advaiicement of
cducation. th¢ Iclief of povrily the relief of sickness. The docrrinal basis of the Trusl is also set out in
the company's Mernoranduni of Associatioii. The members of the Committee confirm that they have referred
to the guidance contained in the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit when reviewing
the Trust's ainis and objectives. in Inaking decisions and in planning future activities.
The TrLlSt carries out these objectives by.providing financial assistance and practical support to various
charitable projects throughout the year. as well as giving strategic. legal and busTne5s advices and training
where required.
Applications for grants may be tnadc to th¢ Trust. and will be considcrcd by thc Committee at their next
scheduled meeting. The availability of grants will depend on whether the application meets the objectives
and ainis of the Trust. and the availability of appropriate fuiids.
Tlie activities of the Trust are reviewed on an annual basis to ensure that they reflect the company's
objeetives and aiins and that they advance public benefit.
ACHIEVEMEf4T AND PERFORMANCE
Charitable 2Ctivities
The Trust continued to provide financial assistance and strategic advices to a number of charitable projects
throughout the year on a global scale. Financial support and advice5 have been provided to charitable
project5 workinLr to advance ilie Christian faith and alleviate poverty and sickness in India, Banoladesh,
Nepal. South Afric4 Ugand4 Burkina Faso and Europe.
A small number of grants have also been made available to local charitable projects in Northern Ireland and
the UK. Iii total. oraiits of £183,4J4 were made during tlie year.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Financial position
The Trusvs work is entirely reliant on personal donations. returns on inve51ments and other Surplus income.
Doiiations which have been given lowards a specific project are treated as Restricted Funds and should only
be utilised as designated.
The cornpany made a deficit of £41.987 during the period. There was a balance in reserve5 at the end of the
year of £214,438. of which £82.355 are restricted funds
FUTURE PLANS
The niembers of the Conimittee wish to continue to tulfil the objectives and ainis of the company, subject to
ruiidiii¥ r¥s(rdints. in providing financial assisiance and practical support to various charitable projects both
locally here in Northern Ireland, in Europe and worldwide.

The charity is controlled by its ooverning document, a deed of trust: and constitutes a limited coiiipany,
limited by guarantee, as defined by the Companies Act 2006.
The Trust is a company limited by guardntee. incorporated on 18th April 2000, registered with The Charity
Commission for North¢rii Ireland NICIOI J13: and recognised as a charity by HM Revenue & Ciisto¥ns.
reference number XRi6105. The company was established under a Memoranduin of Associatioii which
established the objects and powers of the company and is governed under its Articles of Association.
The Trust was established by a small number of members wishing to provide financial and strategic
assistance to various charitable projects, primarily for the advancement of evangelical Christian faitli, the
relief of poverty and the advancement of education_ 'l-he .1 rust does no( acdvely fundrai5C. iiiid scek5 to
continue the charitable work desired by donors through personal donations and the careful stewardship of its
existing resources.
The directors of the company are also charity trustee5 for the piirposes of charity law and under the
company's Articles of A550ciation are known as members of ihe Manageinent Committee. The Management
Committee are responsible for the strategic direction and policy of tlie charity. New meillbers are appoinled
to the Cofflmittee by the existing members at the Annual General Meeting. At each Annual Geiieral Meetin&
oiie-third nf thc rnembers of the Committee (or the number ne3rp_sl tn one third) shall retlTe from office. The
Members of the Coinmittee lo retire shall be those who have been longest in office since their last election o
appointment. A retiring mernber of the Management Committee is eligible for re-election.
The Trust may from time to time in General Meeting increase or reduce the number of members of the
Manageinent Committee and determine in ivhat rotation such incre&sed or reduced nuinber shall go out of
office. and may make Ihe appoiniment5 for cffectffitlg any such increase.
The Members of the Managemeni Committee meet togetheT from time to tiine. and at least once a year, to
aLvree the broad strategy and areas of aclivity for the TnBL including consideiation of grant inaking.
investments, and use of reserves. The day to day administration of donations and grants will be delegated to
one of more mernbers of the Committee.
All meinbers of the ManageTnent Committee give of their time and expertise on a voluntary basts and receive
no remuneration 01 benefits froni the charity. Members of the Comniittee are also required to disclose all
relevant interests and recvisier them with the Committee, and may be required to withdraw from decisions
where a conflict of interesl arises.
The Managenient Committee have conducted a review of the inajor risks to i¥liicli the conipany 15 exposed
and review those risks on an annual basis. Where appropriate: systems or procedures have been established
to mitigate the risks faced by the charity. The Management Conifflittee consider that the major operational
risk- is that funds are allocated appropriately and in line with the wishes of doiiors. Strong internal financial
and operational controls are in place to manage this risk.
