DuTing the year ended 31" December 2023 the charity has conducted the followitig activities
in furth¢ranc¢ of its adiviti¢s for the public benefit;
l . Awardcd seventy eight small grants to deserving widows of dcceased brethren.
These grants have been used by the individual recipients to mitigatc, all be it in a
small way. additional living costs incuffed around Christmas.
2. Extended two grants of assistance on the grounds of ill health or disability to
brcthrcn and thc familics of brcthrcn to assist with thc provision of 5Uitablc
equipment and adaption of accommodation. or the additional living costs
associatcd with their dlsability.
3. Extended one grant of assistance on the grounds of economic hardship to brethren
and thc farnilics of btcthrcn whosc changc in circumslanc¢5 had resulted in a
reduction in income or One￿ff unexpected expense.
The results of the charity's activities during the year and of its position at the year end are
included in the R¢ceipts and payments account on page 5 and the Statement of assets and
liabilities on page 6. The trustees are thankful for the support of the brethrcn forniing ihe
m¢mbership of the charity and their gucsts, through their continued gen¢rous donations
which are used to further the charity's pury)oses. which have been detailed above.
