**Purposes:** Northern Visions Media Trust objects are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Northern Ireland (the “area of benefit”) without distinction of sex, race, ethnicity or political, religious or other opinions by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to relieve poverty, advance education, and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants by providing education and training in television production techniques thereby enabling those who are unemployed to acquire the necessary skills to find employment.
