**Purposes:** 3.	OBJECTS  3.1.	The Objects of the Charity are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of primarily North and West Belfast and elsewhere (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) and in particular:  3.1.1.	to provide relief for those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by the provision and management of residential accommodation, information, advice and other facilities, services and support in the area of benefit;  3.1.2.	to prevent and relieve poverty by providing necessary items such as bedding, clothing, food or fuel to those who cannot afford them;  3.1.3.	to advance education and to develop individual capabilities, competences, skills and understanding by maintaining, managing and supporting vocational employment designed to assist the unemployed and people with learning disabilities;   3.1.4.	to promote and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and not for profit organisations by the provision and management of conference and training facilities.
