## Activities

**Purposes:** The Charity's objects are specifically restricted to the following:-  To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Annsborough area and its environs (the "area of benefit") without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnicity, or political, religious or other opinion by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary and community organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to:  (a)	Promote active citizenship and develop the capacity and skills of the members of the community in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society;  (b)	Promote arts, crafts and culture by organising festivals, performances and events;  (c)	Provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said residents;  (d)   Advance education and training and provide information and advice to local inhabitants;  (e)	Relieve those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability or other disadvantage and promote community safety;  (f)	Advance health and promote participation in healthy recreation;  (g)	Advance environmental protection and improvement and improve or provide public amenities;  (h)	Promote good community relations and social cohesion, racial harmony and equality and diversity.
