CLEENISH COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION REGISTERED NUMBER: N1050423 REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES for the Year Ended 30 APRIL 2022 The trustees who are a150 directors of the charity for the purposes of ihe Companies Act 2006. present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 30 April 2022. The trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recorntrtended Practice applicable Éo charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Finan¢ial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective l January 2019). OBJECTtVES AND ACTIVITIES Objectives and aims The direct benefits which flow from these purposes include provision of a range of social, educational and recreational activities mainly based within Cleenish Millennium Hall for members of the local community living within the Arney and Bellanaleck District, providing them with opportunity to avail of activiiies that assist and improve their educational attaintnenL health. social interaction and their conditions of life through accessing services and activities that would not nornially be made available io them. Benefit5 Of the activities are evidenced by Tneasurement of the numbers participating in activitie5 and by re£eivtng feedback from participants. The only private benefit flowing from our a¢tlVLties to trustees are that Cleenish Community Association trustees, to the extent that they are members, they and their families can participate in all attLVities and this is incidental and necessary to ensure that all tnernbers of the district i potentially l*nefit.There is no harrn flowing from the PUTposes to Cleenish Community Association. ACHIEVEMENf AND PERFORMANCE Charitable aclivitie5 Examples of activities provided are: Keep fil, Social Dancing, Old Tyme Dan¢in& Fanners Inforniation Courses and Talks. Funernl Teas, Family Parties Health Fairs, Heritage Talks, Monthly Youth Disco. Music & Storytelling Sessions, Youth Club. The hall is also used by local Primary school, GAA Club and other charitable bodies for activities and functions. FINANCIAL REVIEW Financial position During the year to 30 April 2022 the charity generated an operdting deficit of £14,552 Reserves policy It is the policy ot the Charity that reserves that hav¢ not b¢¢n designated for a specific purpose should be rnaintained at a level equivalent to betw¢¢n 1-2 months expenditure. The Charity considers that reserve5 at thi5 l¢v¢l will ensure that in the event of a 5ignifi¢ant drop in ￿nding. they will be able to continue some aciivities however this would be on a reduced scale. FUTURE PLANS The Charity intends to continue the work it perforffis for the benefit of the publie, while seeking addiiional sources of funding.
