**Purposes:** The purposes of the company shall be to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Arney and Bellanaleck District and its environs (the "area of benefit") without the distinction of sex, race or political, religious or other opinions by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education; provide facilitates in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants; maintain and manage the Cleenish Millennium Hall (whether alone or in co-operation with any local authority or other person or body) in furtherance of these objects and promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined.
