## **Crawfordsburn Primary School PTA Charity Number 101177 Year ended 2 October 2024 Annual Report** 

Our PTA is made up of parents and staff from Crawfordsburn Primary School. 

We raise money to directly benefit our pupils and aid the teaching staff in delivering the curriculum. 

## **Fundraising activities in current period** 

- Held an Autumn Fair with various stalls, bbq and raffle 

- Facilitated Christmas cards individually designed by pupils 

- Raffled Christmas hampers 

- Held a Valentine’s Disco 

- Ran an Easter bonnet and egg-decorating competition 

- Entered a team in the Belfast Marathon 

- Sold refreshments at the school Sports’ Day 

## **Utilisation of funds raised in current periods** 

- Purchased 15 new Chromebooks for the school 

- Provided selection boxes for all pupils at Christmas 

- Purchased a Twinkl subscription 

- Provided World Book Day buns 

- Purchased sports items for Sports’ Day and new socks for the school hockey team 

- Funded small items (£60 per class) on teacher wishlists 

- Funded an ice-cream van at the summer picnic for pupils 

We believe the PTA events and money raised have a positive impact on the whole school community.
