The trustees of Pomeroy Preschool Playgroup understand and follow the Charity Commissions public benefit requirement statutory guidance. 

Pomeroy Preschool Playgroup provides preschool education for children.  It serves the parish of Pomeroy and surrounding areas.  Children are provided with a high quality, stimulating preschool education.  The Preschool employs 5 staff members who are fully qualified in childcare and education. 

Pomeroy Preschool Playgroup is governed by a constitution adopted on 28[th] February 2011.  The preschool is run by a committee of local people including parents of existing and former pupils. 

The Preschool receives money from the Education Authority for each preschool child.  This money is used to pay staff wages.  The Preschool also receives funding from “The Pathway Fund” for monies to pay for staff wages. 



Additional funds are achieved by grants, applied for by the committee and staff and by fundraising events organised by the committee.
