Main activities to further the purposes of the charity for the public benefit

.

The 2024-25 proceeded very successfully. We have provided a Parent and Toddler group every Wednesday morning during term time, and we were able to add crafts to our range of activities. Attendance at the group remained steady with many clients from previous years returning to the group. We continue to advertise online and in local free newssheets, and many of the group’s patrons come through word of mouth.

We provided another Parents’ Social Evening, which was again very well received by those attending, and we have been encouraged to strive to make this a regular event.

We now have comfortable number of volunteers, so that the level of service provided will not suffer if someone is off. However, we always

welcome new volunteers and the new energy and ideas they bring with them.

Achievements of the Charity

The benefit to the children attending has been observed in their enjoyment of the activities and in the childrens’ development over the course of their time attending the group.

The benefit to the adults attending has been observed in the convivial atmosphere and in their recurring attendance at the group. This is shown through faithful weekly attendance with a child from shortly after birth, and through returning to the group for another spell each time a subsequent child is born into the family. .

Regard to Northern Ireland Charity Commission’s Statutory Guidance

The Trustees have had regard to the Northern Ireland Charity Commission's public benefit requirement statutory guidance.

Financial Position

The group ended the 2024-25 year with £838.70 in the bank current account and £15.40 cash in hand.
