A83inst a background of contrnuing Covid land Ebola fever) restrictions and economic difficultie5, funding h35
remained stron8 though there have been a number of expenses which have increased our costs. A full financial
review is planned for September before renewing our committment to ongoing 5UPPOrt.
A significant and encouraging development during the past year has been the establishment of partnerships
with another hospital and several refugee or8anisations, in addition to our established partnerships including
three universities, enablin8 expertise and experience to be shared in an attempt to benefit more children and
families.
Conclusions: The Acheru staff have maintained hlgh standards In their medical and rehabilitation work,
evidenced by the outcomes. We as trustees endorse the gradual shift in emphasis toward5 community work
and longer term rehabilitation, and now wish to a5515t with a programme of renovation and change of purpose
of some of the original Acheru buildings.
We continue to lend our full support to the staff in Uganda and commend the progress they have made in
fulfilling our aims and objectives.
