Principal ActivAties
The objective of Fivemiletown Community Development Association is to provide charitable services to the local
communiry.
The financial statements comply with Reporting by Charilies: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to
charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and
Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective l January 2021).
Main achievements
We gave support of £ l O(K) to the local Community Walking Club, £500 iowards the local Chamber of Commerce
Christmas lights appeal. 1300 to the Fivemiletown Methodist Friendship Club, £390 to FTvemiletown Methodist
Church and £2250 Fivemiletown Primary/Nursery School and £3095 to fLmd outings.

To advance education - the direct benefits which flow from this purpose are increased access to inforniation. increased
confidence and sclf-este¢m, increased ability to access riiipluym¢nl oppornmiiies.

anticipated from this purpose. The charity's beneficiaries are people living in the rnrAI area nf Five.miletown. A private
benefit may arise from trustees accessing our ongoing programme of activities in ihe communiry. These benefits are

To promote the preservation and protection of health among people ofall ages in Fivemiletown and its environs in County
Tyone without distinction of age. gender. sexuality. nationality. ethnic origin, pnlitic.al or religious opinion. I'he direct
benefits which flow from this purpose are the provision of a neutral venue for local people to meet and socialise. increased
access io infurTnation, in¢r¢ased confidence and self-esteem.
The benefits are evidenced through feedback and evaluatton from the group and local community. There 15 no harni

To provide facilitie4 in the interests of social welfare for recreational activities designed to promote hcalth and fitness or
other leisure-time occupation. with the object of improving the condittons of life for the said inhabitant5 the direct
benefit5 which tlow trom this purpose are the provision of a neutral venue for local people to meet and socialise in an
isolated hnrder Area, increased access to infornialion, InCre￿d confidence and gelf-estccm. and, increased cross-
community interaction. The benefits are evidenced through feedback and evaluation from the group and local community.

Results
The results for the year are set out in the attached accounts. There is a Defecit for the year of £(583}
2023 - Deficit of £(605).
Future developments
It is intended that FivemÉletown Community Development Association will continue in the long tern and will provide
charitable services to the local community.
Slatement of trustees, responsibilities
Charity law requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of
the stat¢ of affairs of the charity at the y¢ar end and of its incoming resources and resources expended during that year. In
