Offering a wide range of meaningftjl activities and experien￿, the ASB group residential breaks take plore in venueb NvrthElll Ii¢land. ASB offer5 both M￿weeK and weekend breaks In whlcn parttcipants choose everything from the breakfast mertu to the activitses. As they make decisions about their time away. indivbjuals on the ASB servrce soaalise with peers, work on compromise and communication skilts. practi￿ daily Imng skills. and take part in many of the activities available across Nl. such as attending Beifasl Giants matches, v¢siling forest pat1(s. walking along the beach in Newcastle. and much more. We offer tailored support. ensuring that we have the right staff with each group to ensure every parliupant has their specific, iThJividual needs met within the group. During the 2023-24 financial year this service prowded 53 Adult Short Breaks, with forty-seven 2-night residenlials, vo 4-night residenb'ats and ft>ur 7-night reswJential$. A total of 140 partrcipants availed of the serw¢e. for an increase of 15% over 2022-23. BIG (Bespoke Individual and Group) Support Service For many young people and adufts. one lo one or small group support is the best option to reach their goals. BIG is service that provides exactly those optiofts. WFth a se￿￿ completely tailored to eath individual, focused on their passions. their needs, and supporting them in bringing their dreams to life. BIG can be as flexible or routine as the indmdual or group desires. as the plan is agreed with both the individual and their carers. Together. they establish the activities to be undertsken. the schedule. and the exact support an individual Èds. Whethp.r arrp.$8ing livp_ music. going shopping with ￿nds. or getting oxereise at the local swimming pool, anything is possible with BIG.

Peer Outlng Programme (POP) incredABLE is proud to partner with the Southem Health and Social Care Trust Children and Young People's Disability Teams to offer the Peer Outing Programme. POP focuse5 Qn young people as they approa¢h and go through the transition tse￿een schc4)l and adult serwces. POP prO￿deS social outings with peers while including opportunities for pET50nal growth that seNe young people into adulthooJ. Team building, communicab"on, Conflict mediation, and overall improvement in SeW-Conf￿ence are all outcomes thal POP participants see over the course of the programme. POP outings tske pla￿ once a month and can be activity-based orjoining in with a community event. fftile POP outings take pla￿ as a group. Ihe proiecl is sbll indmdualised, with spe¢ific supports designed to offer participants the chance to fully engage with their peers and their cornmunities. We are incredABLE-y exaled to see this project through and report on the outcomes we see in our parts'apants. Financial Revl Our a￿oUnts for the year show a Surplus of £40,751 for the year. which has increased the lolal fund balance carried forward. The Statement of Finanoal Activities for the year is detailed on page 12. The Board have examined the charity's requirements for reserves in I￿h1 of the main risks of the organisation and established a policy whereby the unrestricted funds not committed or invested in fixed assets held by the charity should be be￿een three and six months of expenditu￿. The Trustees have a strategy in place to build reserves through planned operating surpluses. Flnancial Results Al the end of the financial year the company has assets of £1.181.301 (2023 - £1.219.6751 and liabilities of £7S.308 {2023 - £154,433). These benefits are demonstrated through our feedback from children and adulls with a Leamingl Inlelleclual Disability and their carers- service evaluation forms., and compiled and summarised in our annual report. These purposes does not lead to ham. The charity's beneficiaries are children and adults with a Leamingl Intellectual Disability in the Southern Health & Social Care Tnjst Area. They also include family members and carers of those who are diagnosed with a Learningl Intellectual Disability. A private benefit flowing from these purposes is that gained by a Truslee who also has a son or daughter who uses the support services. This trustee applies for and is assigned support in the same way as all other beneficiaries. This benefit is incidental and ne￿$Sary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiarres. In preparing these financial slatements. the trustees are required to- selecl suitable accounting policies and apply them consistenty- obseNe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP make judgements and accounting estimates that are reasonable and prudent-, state whether the financial statements have been prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards, identify those standards. and note the effect and the reasons for any material departure from those standards.. and prepare the financial statements on the going concem basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the company will continue in operation. The trustees are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records that are sufficient to show and explain Ihe company's transactions and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the company and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Companies Act 2006 and. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the company and hence for laking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. In so far as the trustees are aware: there is no relevant audil information {infomiation needed by the company's auditor in connection with preparing the auditorfs report) of which the company'5 auditor is unaware. and the trustees have taken all the steps that they ought to have taken as trustees in order lo make themselves aware of any relevant audit information and lo establish that the company's auditor is aware of that information.
