The purposes of the charity are: To provide charitable financial assistance for the prevention or relief of poverty to: (i) Members of the Loyal Orange Institution of Ireland or the Association of Loyal Orangewomen in Ireland (ii) Children of members of the Loyal Orange Institution of Ireland or the Association of Loyal Orangewomen in Ireland (iii) Grandchildren of members of the Loyal Orange Institution of Ireland or the Association of Loyal Orangewomen in Ireland; who are: (a) attending or seeking to attend a third level educational establishment; (b) leaving school, university or other educational establishment or; (c) continuing academic research or studies (d) Disabled (whether physically or with a learning disability).
