Membership Figures The GoogleGroup currently stands at 18,831 members. GG 8 days ago Twitter cut off the link. Bruce has been taking screen shots of the GG and posting manually. Discussion about the exploration of alternative social media outlets. ## 3. Annual Events 2023-24 - Culture Night Belfast has been cancelled because it lost its funding. There will be no in-person event on culture night 2023. If we want to celebrate Studio NI's 19th Anniversary (Sept 2023) we will need to organise a seperate event. Leave it until the 20th anniversary. European Heritage Open Day - Registration until the 11th June. Takes place 9th/10th September. - NI NoWriMo (Nov 2023) Face to face meetings (Thursday) and Discord (Monday) Too late to sign up as a municipal liaison. 20:30 Terry Grew joined the meeting. Unable to install the app on his IPhone. Jim to put an OBS presentation together for the app and send to committee. ## 4. Chairman's Report 2023 ================= We have chaired weekly committee meetings every Saturday evening to discuss the App development. Secretary's Report 2023 - Jim McCafferty ======================================== I have continued to support the Studio-NI android app over the past year. The app has been enhanced to include: - The ability for admin to delete posts - An email alert being sent out to Bruce when a new post has been added - Notifications sent to Android users when a new post has been added During our weekly meetings, I have been analysing performance data from the Google Play Console and relating statistics to the committee. I have also played an active role prepating the application for live roll out. Meeting finished 9:52 PM ## **Chairman's Report** We have chaired weekly committee meetings every Saturday evening to discuss the App development. ## **Secretary's Report for Studio-NI AGM 2022** During the 2021/22 period, I have been continuing work on the Studio NI Android application, web-api and website. Bruce has been hosting regular weekly meetings with Phillip Henry and myself in attendance. Special thanks goes out to Andrew Kilgore, who provided some much needed refactoring of the code and new features. We are applying the finishing touches to all three components and will shortly be submitting the Android application to the Google Play Store for approval. The Android application contains the following features: - Google Login Sign In: allowing users email addresses to be included when submitting posts. - A selection of different forums: Casting, Crew, Writing, Events and Locations. - Auto refresh of forums by "pulling the screen down". - The ability to contact the author of a post via email. - The ability to report a post for offensive content. - Categories are assigned to posts. - Posts can be marked as "favourites", and the forum lists can be filtered to only display - favourite posts. - A donate link has been added which redirects the user to the donate page on the Studio-NI - website. ## **Treasurer's Report** nothing to report
