The trustees present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31 July 2023.
The trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Rep)rling by Charities= Si8leiMenl of
Recommended Practice applicable to chariiies preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective l January 2019).
The PTA Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday 21 October at 9.15am in the Sports Hall.
OBJECTIVES AND AcfiviTIES
Objectives and aim5
The purposes of the PTA Charity are to advance the edu¢alion of the pupils at Friends, School Li5burn by
supplying and assistin8 in the provision of facililies for education at the School. This includes the
organisation of social and other events to promote good relations between staff and parents and the
promotion of the wellbeing of pupils.
The trustee5 would like lo thank all members of the IYA for their assistance over the year, a special mention
goes lo the secrelarial. maintenance and catering staff who year on year go out of their way to make things
happen for us. We do appreciate your efforts.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Financigl position
Durin8 the financial year the Charity made a surplus £30,138 in the previous year £4.416.

Governing document
The constitution was adopted at the AGM held on 15 September 2016.
The affairs of the PTA are managed by the Trustees who are elected annually at the AGM and the President
of the Association the School Principal.
