The Association is established for the advancement of community development and active citizenship for the public benefit of the inhabitants of Brookemount Road, Tamlaght Road and Dromore Road (hereinafter referred to as ‘the area of benefit’) by the following means: 2.1 To advance social welfare by providing activities for people in the Omawest Area. 2.2 The advancement of community development by working with the relevant statutory and voluntary bodies to improve the conditions of life for local people. 2.3 To advance education through the delivery of relevant training courses/sessions in the local community. 2.4 The advancement of environment issues directly affecting local residents through working with appropriate agencies for the benefit of local people.
