SHACKLETON AND AVIATION MUSEUM-31ST DECEMBER 2023 TRUSTEES REPORT
The objective are to:

(A) Advance the education of the public in Aviation history, heritage and culture in Ireland by:

(B) the establishment and maintenance of an aviation museum for the collection, preservation, conversation, restoration, explanation, interpretation, and display of artefact, memorabilia, maps, historical records, books photographs and other documents.

(C) The organization of meetings, lectures, classes, exhibitions, and other forms of education and enlightenment.

(D) Promote the value of cultural activity and motivate people at local level to protect and conserve their cultural heritage.

(E) Promote such other charitable activity and motivate people at local level to protect and conserve their cultural heritage.

(F) During the year to the 31st of December2023 the Trustees have endeavored to run and promote its charitable objectives and public benefit to the communities of Derry/Londonderry, Great Britain and Northern Ireland the Republic of Ireland and across the Commonwealth Nations.

(G) With the support of our Trustees and with the kind support provided by MMC Accountancy Services who have advised and helped us overcome any issues that have arisen during the year and independently examine and prepare our Accounts on a charge basis this has allowed us to invest the donations we have received in supporting the work we undertake

(H) During 2023-2024 we seek to secure grant funding to assist with our ongoing running costs and continued sustainability over the coming 12 months.
