TRILLICK PIPE BAND REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MAY 2023 Constitution and Objects The Governing Document for the Trust is its Constitution copies of which are available upon request. The Objects for which the Charity is established are: Trillick Pipe Band is established for the provision and encouragement of the Culture and advancement of pipe band music common to the Ulster-scots Clan within the Island of Ireland. GovernAnee The number of Trustees is restricted to 4, this number is sufficient without amendment. The Trustees give priority to the Health & Safety of young people and have procedures in place for monitoring and reporting adverse events and for written reporting by desiated professionals. Main Activities Undertaken Training of personnel. Musical perforniances both indoor and outdoor to members of the general public Attending lectures by members of the Ulster-scots Agency and promoting the benefits obtainable from membership. Achievements and performance Never failing to attend contracted commitments in the course of the year. Providing training and tuition to new members. Providing transport on a voluntary basis to facilitate attendance of members at venues away from base. Leading fancy dress perforn]ances within the locality. Leading Church Parades for established Organisations. Review of Activities and Post year end Events The main activities of the Trust are the provision and encouragement of the Culture and advancement of pipe band music common to the Ulster-scots Clan within the Island of Ireland. The deficit for the year and the manner in which it is dealt with are set out in the receipts and paym¢nt account. Payments for the period exceeded Income by £3,113. The deficit for the period of £3,113 will be transferred to the Reserve fund which now totals £72,974.
