(2) To promote conflict transformation and capacity building for the public benefit in Northern Ireland and build and maintain social cohesion and trust within and between communities by: (a) devising and delivering transformation and capacity building training programmes; (b) encouraging and facilitating volunteering and active citizenship; (c) promoting and supporting projects and initiatives that help to achieve these aims; (d) engaging with, promoting co-operation among and establishing relationships and partnerships between groups, organisations and agencies in the community, voluntary and statutory sectors that have an interest in community safety. (3) To advance in life and help young people to engage with their local community through the provision of support, training, counselling and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals. (4) To provide and co-ordinate supportive interventions for victims of crime and anti-social behaviour.
