Ramoan Friendship Group Joint Report by Jean Simpson {Chairperson) and Valerie Craig (Secretary) September 22 - June 25. Ramoan Friendship Group commences in the month of September and concludes for summer break in June each year. Over the past three years the membership has grown smaller due to deaths and frailty of several of our members. The membership now stands at 20+, However there is still much enthusiasm amongst the members. They enjoy entertainment by musicians, sing-alon85 and stories. They also enjoy playing games including bowls, connect 4 etc. We have yoga and various exercises as part of our keep fit. We also have special times when we go out and celebrate birthday meals with the members contributing to the cost. Encouragement is given with regards to healthy eating. Sadly some of our members are unable to prepare a proper nutritional meal so it is so good to witness them enjoying the food put before them. Our Programme Co-ordinator / Treasurer got very seriously ill in June '25 and was in hospital the entire summer. Thankfully she is out and about again and participating within our Ramoan Friendship Group meetings. Secretary Chairperson SLQ IL Date
